CMP Test - Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
CMP Blood Work, also known as Comprehensive Metabolic Panel Blood Test is the initial broad screening tool commonly used to evaluate different organ functions and electrolyte balance, it also helps the doctor to determine certain conditions such as diabetes, liver disease and kidney disease. It is also used to monitoring the effectiveness of treatments related to liver and kidney.
CMP is usually ordered as part of a routine health check.
